The Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild will host its 7th "Art in Clay" Show and Sale at the Lucie Stern Community Center in Palo Alto. It is our first time at this venue, and we're anticipating a fantastic showing of members' latest and greatest artworks!

More than 40 local artisans sharing the common medium of clay will present their newest creations for "Art in Clay" Show and Sale. This event is one of the Bay Area's finest art and craft shows featuring an array of ceramic art and handmade pottery. On display will be ceramics from raku to woodfire, from garden art to ceramic sculpture, from functional tableware to decorative art.

"Art in Clay" is unique in that it is run by the artists who are participants in the show. Patrons will have a chance to mingle with the artists and enjoy light refreshments throughout the day.

In addition to the ceramic exhibit, patrons will be able to watch demonstrations of Ikebana - the ancient art of flower arrangement from Japan that works to show harmony between nature and humanity.

Admission to "Art in Clay" is free, and the show is perfectly timed for selecting fine, artisan-made gifts for the holidays!
